Frequently asked questions
Do I really need to stage my home?
Not every property needs the same level of staging. We start by understanding your home, likely buyer and campaign, then recommend the level of preparation and staging we believe will make a genuine difference. That might mean a complete stage, working with what you already own, or focusing on a few key spaces.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. Our integrated staging service is designed for exactly that. We’ll identify what works, what could be repositioned or removed, and where introducing a few carefully selected pieces could make the greatest difference.
Do I need to pay for staging upfront?
Not necessarily. Through Elepay, you can choose to defer your staging costs until settlement, with same day approvals available for eligible clients. Speak to our team and we’ll help you understand your options.
Can we still live in the home while it's staged?
Yes. Our integrated staging service is designed for homes that remain occupied throughout the sales campaign. We work with your existing furniture where suitable, introduce additional pieces where needed, and talk you through what stays, what changes and how to keep everything looking its best throughout the campaign.
How long does staging stay in the property?
Your staging period will be outlined in your proposal and aligned with your sales campaign. If your property needs a little longer on market, we can arrange an extension.
What do I need to do before staging?
We’ll walk you through the property and recommend the preparation needed before installation. Depending on the home, this might include decluttering, repositioning or storing existing furniture, or completing a few considered updates before we stage.
What happens when the property sells?
We’ll coordinate collection with you or your agent and take care of removing the staging from the property, giving you one less thing to organise as you prepare for settlement.
